CAL FIRE
joincalfire.com - How To Apply Intro and Outro
With the launch of the joincalfire.com website, the team was tasked with creating an instructional video to make the state job application process clearer. For that, we needed a unique intro and outro reel that would capture users' attention and set a good foundation/closing for the video.
I worked solo on the 2D animated pieces and editing the video clips used, but kept up consistently communication with the rest of the team, whose focus was on shooting the main parts of the video, and applying feedback and corrections that came in from the team and from the higher departments.

Social Media Content
All Classifications Guide - Redesign
As part of the Social Media Team, our job was to create weekly content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X that showcased new job openings, highlighted national and international holidays, and announced events where CAL FIRE would be recruiting.
Our content needed to be synonymous with the CAL FIRE branding, but we also aimed to branch out from what other government branches were posting - specifically, this involved the use of more complex, unique compositions. I incorporated my knowledge of 2D animation in order to create more visually captivating content that any random person would want to stay and watch, resulting in higher engagement with our content across various platforms.
CAL FIRE E-Newsletter
In the middle of my internship, I was added to the E-Newsletter team where I was tasked with part of the responsibility to create banner graphics that would be sent out as part of our newsletter every month.
